Mangalore: District Employment Exchange holds Job Fair

Mangalore, Oct 25: District Employment Exchange office and Diya Systems, a city-based business process outsourcing firm organized a job fair at Karnataka Polytechnic college here on Wednesday October 24.

More than 450 aspirants from across the district participated in the job fair. There were people from all walks of life from students studying final year degree to housewives and working professionals.

The programme was inaugurated by deputy commissioner M Maheshwar Rao. He directed the officials concerned to take feedback from the job seekers and employers, which in turn will allow the candidates to improve their skill to be better suited for the job. On this basis a work shop can be conducted to enhance the skills of job seekers, he opined.

As a part of the job fair a written exam was conducted.  The result of the exams will be announced on October 29 at Diya Systems and at the college.

    I have completed my XII and then I did my computer course. I am handicapped. I lost my father. Now I am searching for a Job which I am really in need of. Kindly help me to find a job in Mangalore, I will be very grateful to you.

    I am completed Ist year B.A. My D.O.B. 15.08.1971. I didn't get any satisfactory job. Now I am a Printing Operator in a printing press. I am searching a good job. I am member of poor family. I lost my father in my childhood.
