Bantwal: SVP, Modankap Celebrates First Annual Day

Bantwal, Nov 27: The first annual day celebration of St Vincent De Paul (SVP) of Infant Jesus church, Modankap was held on Sunday November 25.  The programme began with The Eucharistic celebrations.  The stage programme was presided over by Fr Roque D’Sa, parish priest.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

Gilbert Pinto, president, central SVP, in his presidential address said that the chief objective of SVP has been to help the poor and downtrodden, in order to uplift their drooping spirits with an aim of restoring zest for life in them.  Reuben Frank, vice-president, parish council, George Noronha, vice-president, SVP central committee, Benedict D’Souza, president, Bantwal region, John Albuquerque, secretary, Bantwal region, were present on the dais. 

Stanley D’Cunha, secretary, SVP, read the report.  Felix Vas, president, SVP, welcomed.  Cyril D’Souza, treasurer proposed vote of thanks.  Herald S Fernandes, compered the programme.
