Moodbidri, Nov 28: The two days state-level art camp was inaugurated here at Alvas Campus, located at Vidyagiri Hills, on Wednesday, November 28, ahead of ‘Alvas Nudisiri ‘07’ which will commence on Friday, November 30.

‘Udayavani’ coastal Kannada daily, Manipal bureau-chief, Ishwarayya inaugurated the Arts camp by lighting the lamp and said that the art conceives in the mind of artist who conveys by the brush of paints on canvass.


Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, in his presidential address said that artists are the talented persons who express everything by the stroke of brushes including their life experiences.

Artist Forum, head, Raghunath Shet, Kotiprasad Alva of Prasad Art Gallery were the chief guests present on the occasion.

Dr M Mohan Alva, chairman, Alvas Education Foundation welcomed the gathering.  C N Madyasta, administrator proposed vote of thanks. N S Pattar, camp convener explained the characteristics of arts. Nagesh compered the programme.
