Mangalore, Dec 3: A programme was organized to felicitate two distinguished personalities at Kinnigoli near here on Sunday December 2.
Jessy D'Souza who worked as a teacher for 26 years and was recently retired and Leo D’Souza who worked in Kinnigoli panchayat office for 26 years and retired last year were honoured for their services to the Church and community.
Fr Alfred Pinto, parish priest, Kinnigoli Church, Fr Valerian Mendonca, principal, Pompeii College, Bhuvanabhirama Udupa of Yugapurusha and Mabel D'Souza, secretary of Kinnigoli Parish council were the chief guests on the occasion.
Lionel Pinto welcomed the gathering. William D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks. Lavita Mascarenhas compered the programme.
