Puttur: Tension Prevails at Mittur after Assault on KFD Activists

Puttur, Dec 3: The tense situation prevails at Mittur near Kabaka on Monday, December 3, after two persons assaulted Karnataka Forum for Dignity (KFD) activists on Sunday, December 2 night.


Sources stated that two persons assaulted KFD activists Sameer (22) and his father Abdul Hamin (52). The incident occurred when the activists were affixing posters related to Babri Masjid.
 
A case has been registered against Sudhakar (22) and Ganesh Poojary (41), in this regard at town police station. Meanwhile. the accused have also filed a counter-complaint against the KFD activists.
 
Puttur Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Dr Harsha visited the spot.  More policemen are being posted around the locality of Mittur
