M’lore: Chidambara Baikampady to be Honoured by Paradise Club

Mangalore, Jan 25: The concluding ceremony of the flood-lit cricket tournament, which was organized to mark the 30th annual celebration of the Paradise Cricket Club, will be held on Saturday January 26, informed BA Moideen Bava, president of Paradise Club to media persons, here at the press conference on Friday January 25.

The concluding ceremony will be inaugurated by M Veerappa Moily, chairman of Union Administrative Reforms Commission. Vinay Kumar Sorake, former MLA and B Ramanath Rai, president of Dakshina Kannada District Congress Committee (DCC) will grace the occasion, he added.

Five personalities including Chidambara Baikampady, chief correspondent of ‘Kannada Prabha’ Kannada daily will be felicitated, in recognition of their contributions to the society in various fields , at the same occasion, he added.

Ibrahim, joint secretary, Jagdish, vice-president, Mohammad Sheriff, secretary and others were present at the press conference.
