Udupi: Syndicate Bank, Shirva Holds Meet with Customers

Udupi, Feb 18: Shirva branch of Syndicate Bank organized a customers' meet recently at its branch premises at Shirva here, informed a press release.
 
The objective behind holding the customers' meet was to strengthen the Bank's relationship with its customers and to provide a forum to its customers to interact with the bank staff and executives, reflect on the services they get from the bank, besides receiving feedback by the management for enhancing customer satisfaction. It was also an occasion for the Bank to publicise its new products and services launched for the benefit of its customers, stated the release.

Fr Maxim D'Souza, director of Don Bosco Youth Centre, Shirva and Dr N S Shetty, renowned physician, both customers of the branch, were the chief guests on the occasion while Sujeer Prabhakar, deputy general manager, Syndicate Bank, Udupi region presided over the function.  
   
The programme commenced with the customary prayer by the lady staff of the branch. Marian D'Souza, senior branch manager delivered the welcome address and presented a profile of the branch and its growth since its inception 45 years ago.
 
Daphne Lobo, assistant manager introduced the dignitaries. A few prominent customers of the branch from varied sections of the society were honoured and felicitated on the occasion. Alfred Cornelio, assistant manager gave a comprehensive but concise introduction of each of them, before they were presented with mementos by the deputy general manager of the Bank in recognition of their commendable achievements, and for their long and fruitful association with the bank.
 
The chief guests in their address lauded the services rendered by the bank branch to the customers and to the people of Shirva and neigbhouring areas. Krishmoorthy Bhat a veteran agriculturist, Simon D'Souza an NRI customer and  Norbert Machado a businessman all spoke on behalf of the customers, informed the release.
 
Sujeer Prabhakar responded to the customers' observations and highlighted the steps taken by the bank to address their needs. Raghavendra Hebbar, assistant manager proposed the vote of thanks. Irwin D'Souza compered the programme.
