Mangaluru, Oct 28: In preparation to the celebration of the 60th year of establishment of Alcohol Anonymous, the unit in the city will organise a half day convention at the centenary memorial hall at St Joseph's Seminary, Jeppu on October 29.
The meeting will start at 10 am and conclude with lunch.
The world wide AA unit was started in 1935. It will be celebrating the 60th year of its establishment from October 2017-2018. In Mangaluru, the first unit of AA began in 1958. Now the AA unit here is at the threshold of celebrating 60 years of its service to the society.
