Mangalore: Muthalik Paid Tributes to Hemanth Karkare

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Jan 31: Pramod Muthalik's advocate R D Kulkarni said that Pramod Muthalik was the first to pay tributes to ATS chief Hemant Karkere, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and all other martyrs who died in the Mumbai terror attack.

Speaking to reporters, he felt that Muthalik would have attributed the death of Karkare to the curse of Sadhwi Pragya Singh, because of the pain he was feeling at the torture meted out to the Sadhwi. “He had paid respects to the deceased besides paying tributes,” he clarified.

He also expressed the view that the Anti-Terrorist Squad personnel cannot take away Muthalik, who is in judicial custody. "If Muthalik agrees, they can question him in the presence of his lawyer," he said.
