Mangalore: Varsity Enters into MoU with Ohio Franklin University

Mangalore, Feb 23: Mangalore University signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Franklin University, Ohio, USA, for collaboration in the management programme at both graduate and post graduate levels.  

The collaboration covers exchange of faculty, and award of scholarships to students to visit Franklin University for higher degree programmes, stated a press release.  

It also covers a training programme wherein a student who has undertaken a programme in Mangalore University or affiliated colleges with a certain number of credits can go to Franklin University and complete the remaining required number of credits to obtain a degree from Franklin University.  

The MoU was signed on Friday February 20 by Dr David Decker, president, Franklin University, and Prof K M Kaveriappa, vice-chancellor, Mangalore University. The present MoU is valid for a period of 10 years.
