Mangalore: MCC to Concrete Six More Roads

MANGALORE, Feb 24: The Mangalore City Corporation will soon be taking up concreting of six more roads in the city.

Minister in-charge of Dakshina Kannada J. Krishna Palemar performed “bhoomi pooja” for the projects on Monday. The roads to be concreted are: stretch between Karangalpady and Bejai Road; the road from Bejai Church to Karnataka Polytechnic Junction; Shakthinagar Main Road; road from Padil to Bajal Road; PVS Circle to Krishnakunja Compound Road; and Hamilton Circle to Rao and Rao Circle-Old Clock Tower Road (city bus stand road).

These projects are estimated to cost Rs. 15 crore, according to executive engineer of the corporation G.V. Rajashekar.
