Kundapur: Konkani Folk Dance Programme in Town on March 1, 2

Kundapur, Feb 26: A local organization named ‘Vidyaranga Mitrmandali’ will be organizing 'Konkani Lokved Naach – 2009,' a programme of Konkani folk dances, on March 1 and 2 at Kharvikeri here in association with Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy, informed cultural secretary of the organization Raviraj Kharvi, addressing a press conference held here on Wednesday February 25.

MLA of the constituency Halady Srinivas Shetty will be inaugurating the event. State Konkani Sahitya Academy president Narayan Kharvi will preside, he briefed.

Founder president of the Mitrmandali Sheena Kharvi, president Dinkar Kharvi, Namdev Kharvi, Mohan Kharvi, Chandrashekhar Kharvi and others were present at the press conference.
