Karkala, Feb 26: The sixth annual day celebrations of Yuva Shakti at Ladi near Moodbidri were held recently at the Sri Kshetra Ladi Ajankala temple. 

Yuva Shakti founder, central committee president, and state Bar Council member, P P Hegde inaugurated and presided over the programme. 

Speaking on the occasion, he said that Yuva Shakti is a youth organization that promotes national patriotism.  Hegde added that its units should be set up in every village so as to create a platform for the rural youth. 

Lawyer Shantiprasad Hegde was chief guests and Ladiguttu Parshwanat Ballal was also present. 

Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) animator Satish Shetty, Bhuvanajyoti Residential School correspondent Shirtady R Prashant D’Souza, Yuva Shakti zonal president Hassan Ladi, Yuva Shakti president Vinay Kumar, and general secretary Vijay, were also present on the dais. 

Prizes were distributed to the winners of various sports and cultural competitions. 

Prakash welcomed the gathering while Ashraf proposed the vote of thanks and Sudhakar Shetty compered the programme.
