Beltangady, Mar 3: Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat president K P Sucharita Shetty requested spiritual leaders of all the religions to make efforts to actively guide the youth towards principles of righteousness and harmonious co-existence. He was speaking after taking part in the All-religion Harmony Meet held on Sunday March 1 as part of the ongoing Uroos at the Kajoor Darga Shariff,  as chief guest.

In his inaugural address, Ullal Syed Madani Darga Committee president U K Monu Kanachoor explained the need to follow the religious principles in one's life. District Wakf Committee president Y Muhammed Kunhi presided. Uroos Committee honorary president K S Atakoya Thankal Kumbol delivered benedictory address.

Minority Development Corporation president N B Abubakker, Sunni Students Federation state president M S M Abdul Rashid Zaini Kamil Sakhafi, Sullia St Mary Church priest Fr Celiene Thomas, taluk Muslim Union president B A Nazir, zilla panchayat member K K Shahul Hamid etc., were present.

Committee president K Shekhabba welcomed. Qasim proposed vote of thanks. Abdul Rahman Musliyar conducted the programme.
