Udupi, Mar 4:
BJP is likely to win 22 out of the 28 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state in the forthcoming polls, said state transport minister R Ashok.

Addressing the media persons in the district BJP office here on Tuesday March 3 afternoon, minister Ashok said that the meetings of party workers have already been convened in all the taluks across the state. “The BJP bagged 18 seats in the last Lok Sabha polls in the state.  The people are nursing the ambition making L K Advani the future Prime Minister of the country. The increasing popularity of chief minister B S Yeddyurappa will also work to the advantage of the BJP,” he added.

Meanwhile, the BJP will go to the voters with a clear call to shun the Congress that has not been able to safeguard the people against terrorism and rising prices of essential commodities.  “Congress Party is a broken house; JDS is at its lowest ebb. These things make the prospects of the BJP winning a large number of seats in the election brighter, in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls,” he said. Victory of D V Sadanand Gowda who will contest Lok Sabha polls from Udupi – Chikmagalur Loksabha constituency is a certainty,” he asserted.

MLA Raghupati Bhat, MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary, local BJP leaders Katpady Shankar Poojary, Somashekar Bhat, Devendra Prabhu, Gujjady Prabhakar Nayak, Raghavendra Kini, municipal councilor Dinakar Shetty, Urban Development Authority president Sudhakar Shetty and others were present on the occasion.

If people of Karnataka wants to sleep nicely , then they will decide BJP fate !!! Your sympathy towards Rama Sena and the such may cost you a lot.

Mr. Yeddiyurappa took oath of office in the name of farmers after assuming power... farmers who were demanding fertilizers were shot dead,Massive power cuts, an incompetent police force which is slowly being taken over by Sangh Parivar activists, Lack of security for women (Has any one noticed the recent increase in attacks on women in Bangalore??) Anti social elements are creating tension between communities, threatening people and establishments and roaming freely on the roads.

And the best part Mr.Ashok is the present BJP MP Mr.SADANAND GOWDA (whom we had voted for) has taken his heels and fled and does'nt even want to look back at Mangalore!!!

People of Karnataka in general, women in particular are forced to live in fear for quite some time. Women are beaten not only by the hooligans but also by police mercilessly and these attackers being well protected by our elected government. What can we do, as the old saying goes (“Beli Hola medanthe”) “if the fence ate up the crop, who will protect the crop”?

Ask sensible questions before you cast your vote. Do we have to send a body guard behind every woman of our family? Do we have to carry weapon for our self defence? Do we have to take permission from someone before buying an outfit for our sisters? Any dress code for women is written in our constitution? How long we have live under goonda raj?

Do I want to live in a peaceful and harmonious society? Do I want the tax I paid to be utilized for the development or to be gifted it to God? Do I still remember one person who changed the economical status of our country from a bankrupt state? Do I remember that person being a finance minister who ran out of ideas and pledged 25 tons of reserve gold and brought India to its knees? Cast your vote to clean and sincere candidate.

The BJP government has not done anything as promised. The only thing they have been successful is to fill their bellies. The lower classes and poor people are suffering as usual. BJP has become over confident.

I think BJP can do it. There are no good leaders in other party and if BJP comes to power at the center it will definitely give good governance. Hope it comes with full majority.

Mr. Ashok, Over confidence, but have you ever evaluated the current situation in Karnataka, forget about the budget and other issues. Citizens of Karnataka have no security, especially females do you think in spite of this people will vote for BJP? I think BJP needs to work on tactics how to bring the voters back to BJP’s fold. Your state president has changed the constituency because he fears he might loose in Mangalore. However, all the best for BJP for forth coming election.
