Bangalore: Poll Effect - CET Now on May 6, 7

Bangalore, Mar 4: The Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to professional colleges has been postponed in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Karnataka Examination Authority on Tuesday announced May 6 and 7 as the new dates for CET. The earlier dates were April 29 and 30.

Common Entrance Test and Kannada-language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates will be held as follows:

Wednesday, May 6: 10.30-11.50 am: Biology (60 marks); 2.30 -3.50 pm: Maths (60 marks)
Thursday, May 7: 10.30-11.50 am: Physics (60 marks); 2.30-3.50 pm: Chemistry (60 marks)
Friday, May 8: 11 am: Kannada test for Gadinadu Kannadigas; 1 pm: Kannada test for Horanadu Kannadigas.

However, the seat-selection process will be held as per the schedule notified in the CET-2009 brochure.
