Mangalore: Terror Suspect Shabeer’s Fate to be Decided on Mar 4

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Mar 4: The court which is considering the request of the policemen to hand over arrested terror suspect Shabeer to them for investigation is likely to pass its orders on Wednesday, March 4.

On Monday, the hearing in the case was postponed by the judge to Tuesday, as Shabeer was not represented by a counsel. Later, government lawyer Harish Rai came forward to argue the case on behalf of the accused. Police sources confirmed that Rai has since submitted his objections to the police petition seeking Shabeer's custody.

The judge of the JMFC Court No 3  posted the case for March 4, as the judicial custody granted to some other terror suspects ends today and their cases also will come up for hearing in the court.
