Mangalore, Mar 9:
In a strange incident, Harsha, son of Dr Sangamesh C H, medical officer, Lady Goshen Hospital, is said to have run away from home on Saturday March 7, after hearing rumours that he would be denied a hall ticket by his college.

Eighteen-year-old Harsha is a student of St Aloysius College, studying in second year PUC.

His father confirmed that the principal of the college, when contacted, had assured that the hall ticket would be issued to Harsha.

After leaving home, the boy is said to have called home to talk to his mother from the mobile phone of a co-passenger on a bus. But as his mother was not at home, the phone was answered by his father. Hearing his father’s voice, Harsha allegedly disconnected the call and told his fellow passenger that he was going to Hubli.

Dr Sangamesh has expressed concern about his son going missing and said that his son was a good boy who never gave them any cause to worry about his exams or results. He said that the boy’s mother was also very upset about the whole incident.

“I have confirmed with the college principal and he has promised to issue the hall ticket”, said the doctor.

Dr Sangamesh has lodged a complaint at Mangalore North Police station (Bunder) and appealed to his son through the media, asking him to return home soon.
