Karkala, Apr 18: The BJP women activists’ conference was held at Sharada Manjunath Pai auditorium here on Friday April 17.
The conference was organized by the BJP Mahila Morcha.
Speaking on the occasion, D V Sadanand Gowda, BJP candidate for Udupi - Chikmagalur constituency, said that the women have the power to change the country’s future.
The power to vote is considered to be a sacred duty and the Congress Party, which has been trying to manipulate the people’s choice by wielding money power, must be dumped in a corner. Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has failed to preserve the reputation of the country, he alleged.
The secret understanding between the Congress Party and the terrorists has resulted in the increased incidence of disturbances in the country. Whenever the BJP party conducts rallies against the terrorist activities, the Congress Party tries to create problems for the same by creating hurdles, said Gowda.
The BJP must be strengthened to ensure safety for every citizen. The voters must show confidence and trust towards the party to catapult it to power, he added.
Price hike, lack of LPG gas cylinders and kerosene and other problems are the creations of the Congress, said V Sunil Kumar, former MLA, speaking on the occasion.
The eroded moral values of the central government have been responsible for the increase in prices in the state, and the BJP alone can provide a permanent solution to this problem, he claimed.
