Bengaluru: Advocate general Uday Holla resigns

Bengaluru, Jul 27: With the change in the state government, state advocate general Uday Holla has resigned from his post, in tune with the tradition.

Holla was appointed as the advocate general of the state by the coalition government after it rose to power in the state. After the coalition lost majority in the house and exited, Uday Holla sent in his resignation letter to the governor.

Uday Holla, a senior advocate, had also been made the advocate general of the state when Kumaraswamy was the chief minister when the BJP - JDS combine had formed government in the past.
