Mangaluru: Senior nuns felicitated at St Raymond’s Convent

Mangaluru, Jul 27: St Raymond’s Convent, Vamanjoor here celebrated senior citizens day and annual feast of St Joachim and St Anna. Senior nuns were felicitated on the occasion.

Provincial of Bethany convent, Mangaluru Sr Cecilia Mendonca who presided over the programme was felicitated presenting fruits and flowers. She said that older nuns are always becoming shades for younger nuns. “It is commendable that older nuns who started service in the convent at young age and looking for joy in it are becoming our models and guides,” she said.

Sr Superior Gracy B S welcomed. Sr Sadhana B S rendered vote of thanks. All the nuns in the convent were present on the occasion.
