In all educational institutions and government offices, hostels, old age homes, orphanages, charities, all festivals need to be celebrated. In schools this should start from kindergarden/nursery level, so that secular credentials and secular ideologies are implanted in childs minds. We being Indians must come forward to celebrate all festivals with the same spirit as we celebrate ones own festivities.

We must wish each other and exchange gifts/sweets and pleasantries. Truly festivals connect hearts, promote love and peace. Those who try to disturb the festivities are narrow minded people who believe in destruction, hate and devision. We are Indians and all Indian festivals are our won festivals. Now it the time to forget the differences and march ahead and celebrate in unity. Thats unity in diversity. This concept should not be confined to books but must be put into practice.
