Mangaluru: MRPL CSR feed thousands of migrants, destitutes

Mangaluru, Apt 24: For thousands of migrant labourers, destitute and helpless families, rice sponsored by MRPL( Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd) through its CSR fund is proving to be a vital help during the COVID-19 crisis. The sudden imposition of lockdown had put thousands of people including the migrant labourers and the destitute in the district to hunger leaving them in a helpless situation. MRPL through the district administration of Dakshina Kannada sponsored 50,000 Kg rice for the benefit of these needy citizens.



5 Hobalies of Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat get grocery kits from MRPL

Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat had identified a list of needy families who suffered most due to the crisis created during the COVID-19 lockdown. These families belong to 5 Hobalies of the district namely Mangaluru-B, Gurupura, Surathkal, Mulki and Moodbidri.

Major industry of Dakshina Kannada, MRPL ( Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd) sponsored the grocery kit comprising of boiled rice, thoor dal, rava, sugar and tea to these needy families.
