Karkala, Apr 24: Due to lockdown, the whole country has come to a standstill. Many people do not have work and are sitting idle.

Some miscreants have taken advantage of the situation and have painted a street dog as a tiger and left it on the road. This incident is reported from Bailoor of the taluk.

Pedestrians who were walking on the road got frightened as they mistook the dog for a tiger.

When they noticed from close they came to know that this is the handiwork of some sadist miscreants.

    How cruel! What if people beat up or kill the animal thinking of it to be wild. How can one be so irresponsible. Hopefully, someone gives a good bath to the dog and arrests the guy who tortured the poor dog!

    Good idea!

    There was a success story few months back when one of the farmer painted his dogs to disguise as tiger so that monkeys won’t enter his farm house and destroy fruits and coconuts.

    So, I guess above farmer from Karkala took the same idea.

    I know Karkala very well and it’s very difficult to control monkey problems.
    They will destroy all the coconuts and you have to come up with these kind of solution.

    Why human beings are troubling poor animals? What pleasure they will get? Coloring the how much he/ she has tortured the poor fellow? If you r so much bored to some productive work so that will get lots of blessings from god. U can feed stray dogs or any animals at this lock down time
    Please consider it & requesting you to dont repeat the same thing.
    It is a humble request to everyone dont trouble the animals.
