Udupi: Case registered against six people for violating lockdown orders

Udupi, Apr 24: A case was registered at Brahmavar police station against six people for violating lockdown orders.

V Sridhar Achar, managing trustee of Kalikamba temple, Harish Acharya, manager of the temple, Chandra Acharya, committee member of the temple, Prakash Acharya, another committee member of the temple, Subraya Acharya and Srikanth had participated in a programme at the temple on Friday, April 24 at 11.25 am, without taking any precautions, mask and without maintaining social distance.

Brahmavar taluk tahsildar had requested for police action against them. Hence, a case was registered at Brahmavar police station.
