Bengaluru: DSERT orders implementation of online revision for SSLC students

Bengaluru, Apr 27: Director of Department of State Educational Research and Training (DSERT) has sent a circular to zonal educational officers to implement the revision lessons that are being telecast on Doordarshan between April 29 to May 28.

The order says, "The SSLC examination of 2019-20 is postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic. In order to instill confidence in the students, revision lessons for Kannada, English, Math, Science and Social Science subjects are being telecast on Doordarshan from 3 pm to 4.30 pm every day in Chandana. Re-telecast of the same is being done the following day between 6 am to 7.30 am

"A programme called 'Makkalavani' is being already telecast on Youtube to encourage students to take up studies during summer holidays and also to inspire their creativity. The same programme will be telecast once again from April 29 to May 28 from 5 pm to 5.30 pm every day.

"So all the students should get the benefit of both the programmes. Co-teachers, CRP, BRP, headmasters and teachers, zonal coordinating officers and zonal educational officers should convey this to the concerned in their area in order for students to revise and get ready for their examinations."
