Belagavi: Police constable guarding DC's residence shoots himself dead

Belagavi, May 7: A police constable entrusted with duty at the residence of the deputy commissioner of the district has ended his life. The victim happens to be Prakash (30).

Prakash was a city reserve police constable. He was posted at the residence of deputy commissioner of the district S B Bommanahalli at Vishveshwaraya Nagar here. Prakash shot himself in the security room.

There is suspicion that he would have committed suicide due to work pressure. The city police commissioner, deputy commissioner, and others visited the spot and undertook scrutiny.
