Udupi, Jul 17: “Large numbers of coronavirus cases are being reported in Udupi district. It is necessary to upgrade the current facilities. Similarly, doctors and nurses are required in large numbers. Additional technicians are needed in labs. Therefore doctors, nurses and lab technicians are requested to register for voluntary service. Those who intend to do the same may contact district health and family welfare officer in Udupi," DC Jagadeesha said.

“As ventilators and pressure oxygen systems are needed in Covid hospitals in the district, donors and philanthropists can hand over them to the deputy commissioner’s office and join hands in the prevention of the pandemic,” the DC urged.
