Haveri, Aug 24: An ENT specialist ended his life on Sunday August 23 morning by hanging himself. The victim has been identified as Dr Jagadish Goddemi (49), an ENT specialist. It is said that he was frustrated with life and was undergoing depression.
The doctor had gone to bed after having dinner with other family members at his house at Basaveshwara Nagar here on Saturday night. On Sunday morning, he did not open the bedroom door even after knocking several times even at 11 am. He was later found to have hanged himself.
Post-mortem of the body was performed later. Dr Jagadish and his gynaecologist wife were running a private hospital at Haveri since the last many years. His father, also a doctor, works for another hospital, it is learnt.
