Udupi, Aug 24: In a meeting of fishermen association held here on Monday, August 24, MLA K Raghupathi Bhat has directed concerned officials to issue diesel passes to fishermen. It was also decided to suspend parking facilities in the port and to assign volunteers to maintain social distance and unload the fish.
Association president Krishna Suvarna, Udupi police circle inspector Manjunath, fisheries department deputy director Ganesh, assistant director Shivakumar, coast guard sub-inspector and association members were present.
