Ramanagara: Worry about coronavirus claims two lives of family

Ramanagara, Aug 25: In a strange incident which happened in Tirumale new extension within Magadi town in the district, a father-son duo lost lives on account of tension about coronavirus.

The victims were Venugopal (40) and his father Shankarappa (68). After Venu complained of breathing difficulties, a corona test was performed but the result was negative. However, as his breathing problems increased, he was admitted into Rajarajeshwari hospital at Bengaluru for treatment. It is said that he was extremely fearful about contracting coronavirus infection and breathed his last at around 1.30 am on Monday.

Shankarappa was not informed about his son's demise but he was very much worried about his son's health condition. On Monday morning, he suffered from chest pain. He was admitted into a private hospital in Magadi town but he breathed his last due to heart attack.
