Koppal, Aug 27: It is learnt that Guru Basavaraj, currently serving as special tahsildar in the urban development cell here, was working as tahsildar at Kushtagi a few months back. At that time, he reportedly had kissed a lady staff member of the office. This video has become viral after several months now. A complaint has also been sent to the district administration in this regard.
The incident dates back to seven months. Koppal district deputy commissioner, Vikas Kishore, said that notice would be served on the officer now, calling for an explanation. Thereafter, disciplinary action will be initiated, he stated. He added that it is now clear why action was not taken immediately after the said incident.
