Udupi: Tulunadu Dhaivaradhakara Sahakari Okkoota submits appeal to Pramod Madhwaraj

Udupi, Aug 27: Tulunadu Dhaivaradhakara Sahakari Okkoota, here, who has taken up devotion to deities as their profession, submitted an appeal to the former district in-charge minister and former MLA Pramod Madhwaraj at his residence in the presence of all their members.

They stated that they have neither received any corona package from the government nor approval for special devotion to the deities. They have not received any response to the requests made to the politicians and the deputy commissioner.

“Therefore, please explain on behalf of the opposition the issues,” they said.

Former MLA Pramod Madhwaraj who received the appeal promised to speak to the chief minister and the concerned minister. “I will stand by you in your problems,” he said.

The chief secretary of the Okkoota, Vinod Shetty, treasurer Sridhar Poojary, vice-president Ravi Shetty, Yogish Poojary, Kaup unit president Yashodhar Shetty, Dayesha Kotian, Sunil Kumar, Santhosh Devadiga, Nithyananda, Surya Kanta Devadiga, Rakshit and other members were present.
