Second chartered flight from Dammam by Mannan Foundation reaches Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Aug 29: Upon public demand, the second chartered flight of Mannan Foundation from Dammam, Saudi Arabia, carrying 106 passengers reached Mangaluru on Friday August 28.

The flight carried visa expired expats, those who lost their jobs, NRIs who want to return to their native because of expired residential permits, overstayed visitors, pregnant women, senior citizens, kids and few patients in need of medical assistance in India.

Founder members, Arif Krishnapura, Tasleem Krishnapura and Imran Krishnapura along with its working committee handed over the ticket copies to the returnees and wished them a pleasant journey.

Being a social organization earlier Mannan Foundation paid the advance for the chartered flight and issued 56 tickets to the emergency passengers at a reasonable price to lighten their financial burden and those who were not able to buy tickets were offered free travel. Through the service of the organization, all were helped to reach home safely on August 22.
