Mangaluru: Sheryl Iona appointed national co-coordinator of social media of All India Mahila Cong

Mangaluru, Aug 29: All India Mahila Congress (AIMC) has appointed Sheryl Iona as the national co-coordinator of social media of All India Mahila Congress.

Sheryl, who hails from Mangaluru, is an engineer by profession. She has worked in the UAE in various capacities including admin manager for six years and then returned to Mangaluru to peruse her masters in digital electronics and communication. She had then worked as assistant professor at an engineering college in Mangaluru, after perusing her MTech degree.

The appointment was announced at New Delhi by Aiyshwarya Mahadev, secretary of All India Mahila Congress and social media national in-charge of All India Mahila Congress. AIMC has 4 national coordinators for the country and Sheryl Iona is one among them who is newly appointed.

Sheryl, who is known for her passion for music, plays organ and violin whenever she gets an opportunity. “This is a new challenge in my career and I am grateful to all who trusted in my capabilities and entrusted this responsibility on me. I will work hard to fulfill their expectations. The young generation of India believes in Rahulji's simplicity and sincere nature. I would like to see Rahulji as our Prime Minister soon," Sheryl said.
