Mangaluru: MRPL ramps up project activities with Covid-guidelines

Mangaluru, Aug 29: Mangalore Refinery Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) to support ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, is ramping up work at its project sites. These projects will ensure country’s energy security as the Indian economy prepares to bounce back.

Mangalore Refinery Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) is currently executing 15 projects including setting up of a Desalination plant and BS VI conversion projects.

Expected man days to be generated in FY 2020-21 is 3,22,283 where as a capital expenditure of Rs 1,150 crore is planned to be spent on these projects.

As part of an effort to put the Indian economy back on track in the post COVID-19 period, oil PSU’s under MOPNG are taking major strides in ramping up project spending.
