Udupi, Sep 12: “The talent in children comes out when they receive a suitable opportunity and platform. We are joyful when we see their pictures in different poses as Balakrishna and Yashoda Krishna,” opined Malabar Gold and Diamond Udupi branch head Hafiz Rehman.

He was speaking as chief guest of the prize distribution programme held under the aegis of Mahatobara Kodavoor Shankernarayana temple by South Kanara Photographers Association Udupi zone and Sumana Kodavoor.

ASKPA district president Karandadi Shettigar said that their organization is strong with 3,500 members. “We are relentlessly holding social and pro members programmes,” he said.

Temple management committee president Prakash G who presided over the programme said that they have held religious, cultural and social programmes during their term. “We have also held a Muddu Krishna photography contest,” he said.

Winners among children were presented cash and gifts. The photographers who clicked the photographs of children were also felicitated.

District media representative Janardhan Kodavoor, zonal honorary president Shiva K Ameen and Sumanasa secretary Jeevan Kumar were present.

Secretary Sukesh Ameen welcomed. Zonal president Prakash S Kodankoor gave an introduction. Poornima Janardhan rendered a vote of thanks. Raghavendra Sherigar compered the programme.
