Udupi, Sep 15: “Udupi district has become famous for its education standards on the state, country and international level. Similarly, there are quality government and private colleges in Udupi. However students aspiring for medical education go to other districts as the fees in private medical colleges in the district is exorbitant. Therefore, a government medical college in Udupi is essential. It will also be convenient for many people. In these circumstances a government medical college should be approved,” requested ABVP to Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat while submitting a memorandum.

ABVP leaders Shivananda Nayak, district leader Raja Shankar, district co-convener Akshaya Halemane, city secretary Anil, Srikara and Vijetha were present.
