Mangaluru: District BJP announces week-long 'Seva Saptah' on occasion of PM Modi's 70th birthday

Mangaluru, Sep 16: District BJP will be conducting a week-long 'Seva Saptah' from September 14 to 20, to mark the 70th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17, announced district BJP president Sudharshan Moodabidiri.

Addressing media here on Wednesday, September 16, Sudarshan said, "A circular has been issued from the national president J P Nadda to conduct a week-long Seva Saptah. During which, several programs will be conducted throughout the district by Yuva Morcha, OBC Morcha. The Raitha Morcha has already begun the program at Puttur as part of Seva Saptah. The programs will include blood donation camp, distributing artificial limbs to the needy, distributing spectacles, distributing fruits to the patients in the hospital."
 
 
The district BJP president stated that Seva Saptah in Dakshina Kannada will be officially inaugurated on September 17.
 
"We will even plant saplings, and carry out events on environmental conservation," said Sudharshan Moodabidiri. 

Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath, North MLA Dr Bharath Y Shetty and others were present.
