Mangaluru: Safiya Nayeem conferred with PhD from Mangalore University

Mangaluru, Sep 17: Guest lecturer of Journalism and Mass Communication, department of Mangalore University, Safiya Nayeem was conferred with PhD from Mangaluru university for her research work.

Safiya was awarded PhD for her research work titled 'Impact Of Social Networking Sites Among Media Professionals In Karnataka', which she presented under the guidance of Prof Waheeda Sultana, retired lecturer of Journalism department.

 

Safiya is the daughter of late Abdul Hameed Venoor and Rabiyamma couple and wife of Nayeem Siddique, editor of an online media based in the city. She is an old student of Alva's College, Moodbidri.
