Yadgir: Car tumbles into canal - youth dies, parents washed away

Yadgir, Nov 11: A car which went out of the driver's control tumbled into the Narayanapura left bank canal in Malanoor village in Hunasagi taluk in the district on Tuesday, Novemer 10.

Pavan Biradar (31), who was driving the car died on the spot while his parents, Sharanagouda Biradar (65) and mother Janaki Sharanagouda Biradar (60) were washed away. Pavan's wife, Prema and daughter Krittika swam to safety. All of them were from Banahatti village in Sindagi taluk.

The family had come in their car to check on their property in the said village. For returning, the car was being reversed when it went out of control and fell into the Narayanapura left bank canal. Search for Sharanagouda and Janaki is on.
