Udupi, Dec 16: Pejawar Math Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Sripada visited Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday, December 15.

The seer who is touring southern states expecting cooperation for the construction of Ayodhya Rama Mandir submitted a letter to the Governor requesting support, who respectfully welcomed the seer and held discussions with him for some time.

“When Guruji Golwalkar called for a ban on cattle slaughter in 1953, I was a boy. I had visited houses in Gujarat on a bicycle with another boy and collected signatures. As most people were illiterate they had given their support by giving thumb impressions,” said the Governor. The Governor recollected his participation in various Ayodhya movements and assured his cooperation towards the work.

Pejavar seer draped a shawl on the governor, presented a memento, fruits and flowers and blessed him. VHP local organizing secretary Keshava Hegde and private secretary of the seer Vishnu Acharya Krishnamoorthy Bhat were present.
