Mangalore, Jun 30:  Rotary Club, Mangalore Sunrise, held their new office bearers' Installation Ceremony at Hotel Taj Gateway here recently.

The new team consisted of Rtn Shailesh Jain as club president and Rtn Manish Jalan as club secretary. They took charge from Rtn Blanny Fernandes who was the former club president and Rtn Eulalia D'Souza, the former secretary.

Rotary plays an important role in society to help the poor and the needy in more ways than one. Rotarians, as members contribute their might to provide school books, uniforms, foot wear to the needy school children. This enables mostly rural schools to encourage students from weaker sections to attend school.
