Mangalore: Theft at Shop - Mobile Phones Worth Rs 15 Lac Stolen

Mangalore Jul 7: Mobile phones approximately worth Rs 15 lac were stolen from ‘The Mobile Store,’ an exclusive mobile shop located at the Mahatma Gandhi road at Ballalbagh. The incident came to light in the morning on Wednesday July 7 when the employees of the store came to open the shop.

















As many as 176 mobile phones worth Rs 12 to 15 lac along with Rs 30,000 cash were stolen. Speaking to Daijiworld, an employee of the shop, Dinesh said that the theft was held gaining entry by breaking open the locks of the shutters between 10.15 pm and 9.15 am. It has also been found that the CCTV cameras' wire were disconnected and other electrical connections too.

The police team visited the spot for investigation along with finger print experts and dog squad.
