Bangalore, Jul 8: Minister for higher education, Aravind Limbavali, announced in the state legislative council on Wednesday July 7, that the confusion over the seating matrix has been cleared, and that Common Entrance Test (CET) counselling will begin on July 14 without fail.

“All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has agreed to continue the same seat matrix as in 2009-10 this year. By agreeing to continue to retain the same quota of seats for the year 2010-11, it has cleared doubts that had arisen over the admission of students into government and private engineering colleges,” he stated.
