Udupi: Former Shirva GP Prez Harish Shetty Passes Away

Udupi, Jul 8: P Harish Shetty (47), former president of Shirva gram panchayat, local youth Congress leader and an active member of Bantakal Youth Club, passed away, here on Wednesday July 7 following a brief illness.

He is survived by his wife and well wishers. The mortal remains was placed for public viewing in front of Shirva gram panchayat office, here on Thursday July 8 at 10.00 am.

Former state minister Vasant V Salian, Mattar Ratnakar Hegde, zilla panchayat president Gladys D’Almeida, Shirva gram panchayat president Vanita Kamalaksha Shenoy, heads of local schools and college, former Shirva gram panchayat vice president K R Patkar and others offered tributes to the departed soul.
