Mangalore, Jul 10: The Karnataka coast basked in bright sun on Friday July 9. Except for occasional showers, the day continued to be bright.

The city, Beltangady and Sullia received some rains. Bantwal taluk also recorded some rains that were spread out. Udupi district did not get any rain.
