London, Jul 10 (IANS): Pop star Katy Perry and her fiance Russell Brand are reportedly set to marry on the Hawaiian island of Maui.

The couple, who got engaged in India Dec 31, 2009, might exchange wedding vows in October, reports contactmusic.com.

They are believed to be preparing for a "small" but lavish ceremony at a private location on the Hawaiian island.

However, the 25-year-old pop star likes to let everyone keep guessing rather than spilling the beans about her wedding. She had also once admitted that both of them cook up stories about their impending nuptials so their true wedding plans remain a secret.

Perry said: "Russell makes up these really crazy stories about me and our wedding. I make up stories, too - I said he was a 'groomzilla'. He said I farted a lot, but I've never farted in front of him - honestly! I hear these crazy stories - we are going to get married in latex, underwear, in Spandex, in Japan, in India, in Thailand. But I think all this craziness about my marriage is really funny.

"And I don't set the record straight as I love this chaotic circus of wrong information, because it is not really anyone else's business beside the people that we have invited and us, of course."
