Yeddyurappa has Lost Control of MLAs - Janardhana Poojary

MANGALORE, Jul 11 (The Hindu): Veteran Congress leader B. Janardhana Poojary said on Saturday that Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa had failed to lead the Legislative Assembly in a disciplined manner.

Referring to Friday's incidents in the Assembly, he told presspersons here that the Chief Minister had lost control of his party MLAs.

“The Chief Minister should have displayed extreme patience. He should be a model to others. It is his duty to be patient even if the Opposition members provoke him and criticise the Government,” he said. Mr. Poojary alleged that the Chief Minister had bowed to the “egoistic pressures” of “mining lords”.

Mr. Poojary said that Minister for Tourism and Infrastructure Development G. Janardhan Reddy should be arrested because the court had served eight warrants, including some non-bailable ones, against him.

Mr. Reddy had used unparliamentary language in the Assembly on Friday, he said.

    What made you to comment the way you did below,Please give me one incident were Mr.Poojary lost his mind,tongue. For you guys Reddys, Yeddis have full control of thier mind,tongue good example was the assembly incident last week and Rs 60,000 crore for corruption.

    Dear Poojariji, stop complaining to others and start work for public. There is no value for your words in Karnataka but people still remember your Sala-Mela programme. Dont try to get good post in Congress without doing any hardwork.

    Poojariji, by now, everyone has experienced the failure of BJP in Karnataka. However, who compelled people to vote for BJP ? The failure of Congress is't it ? If you had done any good to your people in Karnataka when people had given a chance for you, BJP would not have come to power. Now, do not lament, but, look back what was lacking in Congress. Ofcourse, BJP has done the harm within two years what Congress did in 60 years. Another 3 long years to bear !!
