Karnataka Capuchins Inaugurate Darshan College New Building

Bangalore, Jul 15: The new buildings housing St.Anthony’s Pre University College, Darshan College and Hostel were inaugurated and blessed on 14th July, 2010 in the presence of a large assembly.

Rev Dr.Vincent G.Furtado, the President of the Capuchin Education Board blessed the buildings after they were inaugurated by I. Ravindranath, Technical Advisor to Shobha Karandlaje, MLA, Yeshwantpur. Shobha couldn’t attend the function due to an urgent meeting called by the Chief Minister in the early hours to discuss on Karnataka Mining Crisis.





















Rajanna, Corporator, BBMP, Ullalu Ward was the guest of honour, along with Anthony Devaraj, Deputy Registrar, Bangalore University and Sr. Veena, UFS, Headmistress, Gnanabodhini High School.

Fr.Chetan, the director of the twin institutions welcomed the dignitaries and the guests and read out the report. 

Fr.Veerus Concessao proposed the vote of thanks.  Rashmi Swamy , Principal, St.Anthony’s Pre University College was present on the dais.

Sharmila Lobo and Pushpavati compered the programme in English and Kannada respectively.
